This spring, the Museum of Walking moves to ASU Art Museum’s Project Space and presents the landmark exhibition “Walking and Thinking and Walking,” curated by Bruce Ferguson, which first appeared in 1996 at the Louisiana Art Museum in Denmark. The exhibition includes mimeographed works by artists and scholars like Marina Ambramovic and Rebecca Solnit.

“Museum of Walking: Walking and Thinking and Walking” is part of ASU Art Museum’s Spotlight series, bringing attention to innovative projects in the arts and design by ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts faculty and students. It is also part of projectWALK, a collaboration between the Museum of Walking, ASU Art Museum and additional campus and community partners, which investigates the everyday activity of walking in one of the least walkable cities in the United States.

Supported by the Institute for Humanities Research, ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, the Evelyn and Lou Grubb Charitable Fund/Nancy Grubb Sage through the Arizona Community Foundation and Phoenix Parks and Recreation.
