Description

This Award winning Adobe home includes a compound that incorporates a total historic renovation, and additions to, a1920’s era adobe guest ranch built on a pristine desert parcel with outstanding mountain views in Paradise Valley.

Originally three buildings built around a central courtyard, the complex of adobe structures were named “La Casita de Maria” by the original builders. In 1991 Architect John Douglas renovated, expanded and restored this home to perfection. Known then as the Frieder Residence, it achieved significant notoriety for the sensitive design and lush landscape. The home has been well documented, published and has received numerous awards and recognition.
